Packing & logistics

Every product is packed and dispatched to your specification. We work with the freight agency that best fits each destination, and we quote on FOB or CNF terms.

Box configurations

Full, half and quarter box

Box dimensions are standardised so that pallets build cleanly and the product is protected in transit. What changes is what goes inside: stem count per box varies with head size and volume.

  • FB — full box. The standard export unit for volume programmes.
  • HB — half box. For mixed loads and smaller weekly orders.
  • QB — quarter box. For sampling, top-ups and high-value grades.

Bunching, sleeving, labelling and box marking are set by you. If your team breaks boxes down a particular way on arrival, tell us and we will pack for it.

We operate with full box (FB), half box (HB) and quarter box (QB) configurations. Stem count per box varies depending on flower head size and volume; box dimensions remain standardised to ensure optimal logistics and product protection.

Commercial terms

FOB or CNF — your call

Some customers move their own freight; others would rather we land the cargo at their airport. We quote either way.

FOB — free on board

We deliver the cargo to the airline in Bogotá or Medellín, cut the airway bill and hand over the documentation. Freight is on your account, with your own agency and your own negotiated rate.

CNF — cost and freight

We quote the product landed at your destination airport, freight included. Useful when you would rather handle one invoice and one counterpart instead of coordinating a freight agency yourself.

Freight

Several agencies, one per destination

We are not tied to a single freight forwarder. Depending on the destination, the volume and the week, we work with the agency and the airline that give the best combination of rate, frequency and cold-chain handling.

Air freight is charged on chargeable weight — whichever is greater, actual or volumetric — plus the carrier's surcharges. Rates improve with volume, so it is worth telling us the number of boxes you expect to move before we quote.

Documents

Issued as the cargo is cut

  • Commercial invoice and packing list.
  • Air waybill (AWB) with flight details.
  • Phytosanitary certificate issued by the Colombian authority.
  • Certificate of origin where the destination requires it.

Documentation is sent by e-mail as soon as it is issued, so your customs broker can start work before the aircraft lands.

Send us your destination and volume

With the destination airport and an estimate of boxes per week, we can quote FOB or CNF and tell you which routing makes the most sense.
